New AdWords Format Goes Local

May 23, 2015 By CW O'Connell

Google announced today on their Inside AdWords blog a new ad format that’ll start to show soon on mobile devices. Now, when searching, you’ll likely see the following format. It includes directions as well as a now common click to call functionality. For Google, they are continuing their adjustments of formatting between mobile and desktop search results — at this time, no adjustments are being made to desktop searches with these particular keywords. It’ll be interesting to see how these ads perform over old text-based ads. If you have this format showing, I’d love to know the results.new-ad-format-mobile
